Responsibilities
- Financial Planning and Analysis & Reporting: Maintain and adapt 3 statement consolidated financial models across the global group. Present detailed scenario analysis with strict focus on cash flow.
- Commercial Duties: Play a key role in commercial decision-making, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to analyze trends, manage pricing strategies, and assess the profitability of investments.
- Financial Budgeting: Manage and oversee the budget-setting process. Liaise with other departments on a regular basis to ensure upcoming operating costs and sales performance are reported correctly on a timely basis.
- Global Consolidation: Collect, analyze, and consolidate financial information from five different geographical entities. Ensure accurate representation of the company’s financial position on a global scale. Liaise with outsourced accounting functions in other jurisdictions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with senior management at the corporate level, external stakeholders, and other departments. Present complex financial information in an understandable format to facilitate informed decision-making. Prepare financial collaterals to assist fundraising and other similar projects.
- Operational Duties: Aid with corporate legal and secretarial functions across the group and provide commercial input on everything from marketing to corporate strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Any other relevant professional certifications are a plus (MBA, etc.).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry or high-growth global startups.
- Legal and corporate investment experience.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; extra languages a plus.
- Fluent in English.
- Portuguese is a plus.
